Bucyrus, ND (WDAY TV) -- A fund has been set up at Dakota Plains Credit Union in Hettinger, to help the victims of the wildfire that ran through the town of Bucyrus.

There is also a 50-thousand dollar pool, to make low-interest loans.

Homeowners are sifting through the rubble, looking for anything to salvage.

The Krugs called Bucyrus home for more than 4-decades. Their house is destroyed. Today, they're trying to find Evelyn's prize rock collection.

Mike's pride and joy, his Buick Park Avenue, is gone. The camper they used to winter in the south, also burned up.

Mike says, "We had a covered patio here on the front, east side, that's where you want a patio we had huge trees you know, we'd sit out here in the morning and drink our coffee, and it's gone."

The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time.
