Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Democratic candidate for North Dakota governor Ryan Taylor says he would like to have more debates, but Governor Jack Dalrymple won't agree to them.

Dalrymple's campaign says their two debates were robust and aired statewide.

Taylor says he's now bringing his message directly to the people.

He stopped by Bear Creek Winery to meet with teachers in a town hall setting.

Taylor says, "so, we're actually just taking our message out to people in town hall format. So, they'll at least get to meet me and hear my ideas, and they'll have to work hard to get the governor to do the same, I guess."

Taylor's tour will stop in Hillsboro, Grand Forks, and Grafton tomorrow.
