Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Her message was one of hope. A nationally acclaimed ADHD expert spoke to a packed house tonight, telling people the disorder can be treated.

Chris Dendy says 10-percent of the population has ADHD, or Executive Function Disorder, which is when people have a hard time organizing or scheduling.

She says the two are often misdiagnosed, and very misunderstood.

She says it can't be cured, and if treated early, you can avoid many life challenges.

Chris Dendy, ADHD Expert: "You have to work long and hard to love your kids for who they are and their strengths and try to help them find their niche and that's our job.”

Dendy has a test to check for ADHD. If you want to take it, go to our website, and click on the Easy Link.
