Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- The University of Montana's football program is known nationally for its success on the FCS level, two national championships, appearances in the title games three times since 2004.

That's the pedigree that will come to Grand Forks for the first time since 1973 on Saturday as the Grizzlies will face UND for the first time as conference opponents in a Big Sky game.

It's been a down year for Montana with a 3-4 record, but the Griz defense is stout.

UND Head Coach, Chris Mussman, says, "They really like to mix things up, pressures movement, two deep in d-line, we've got our biggest challenge to date up front for the offensive line against their d-line."

UND lost 27-17 in Missoula back in 2010, it's a 2:30 kickoff you can hear the game on 970 WDAY, the game will also be nationally televised.
