Bail change is denied for Richard Haaland

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- No change in bail for a Fargo man accused of physical and sexual assault. But the judge did issue a stern warning to the prosecutor.

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- No change in bail for a Fargo man accused of physical and sexual assault. But the judge did issue a stern warning to the prosecutor.

Judge Lisa Borgen denied a request to change Richard Haaland's bail. It'll stay at 500-thousand dollars without conditions, and 100-thousand dollars with conditions.

Prosecutors wanted 1-million dollars bail, because, they said, Haaland was a flight risk, and had a lot of money.

Borgen put a gag order on attorneys for both sides, saying talking to the media is "inappropriate."

Haaland's next court appearance is December 10th.
