Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's the ultimate pay-it-forward project.

April Nelson received the keys to her new North Fargo house tonight, through habitat for humanity.

The single mom will raise her two children Blake and Brooke in this home.

The project was a collaboration among Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity, Home Builders Association and Home Builders Care Foundation.

The family completed more than 250 hours of "sweat equity" to get this opportunity.

April Nelson, Home Recipient: “I wouldn't be in a house yet and I didn't think anytime soon, it's amazing it's a dream come true that's for sure.”

The family moves in within the month.
