Grand Forks County State's Attorney takes on a new role

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Grand Forks County State's Attorney Peter Welte is taking on a new role.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Grand Forks County State's Attorney Peter Welte is taking on a new role.

He's been named to the North Dakota Association of Counties Board of Directors, representing the North Dakota State's Attorney's Association. Welte will replace an attorney from Burleigh County.

The North Dakota Association of Counties also recently elected new leadership for its board of directors.
