Alleged North Dakota drunken driver hits police vehicle
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he backed into a Fargo Police Department vehicle.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota man has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after he backed into a Fargo Police Department vehicle.
Fargo Police Lt. Joel Vettel tells the Forum newspaper that an officer was stopped at a red light when a vehicle backing out of parking lot struck the police sport utility vehicle.
Officials say 51-year-old Wesley Saum of Fargo was arrested. No one was hurt in the accident, and the police vehicle sustained minor damage.
