Vice Presidential Debate

(WDAY TV) -- The general consensus is Romney One, Obama Zero when it comes to this year's presidential debate win - loss record. But could tonight's vice presidential debate turn the tide?

(WDAY TV) -- The general consensus is Romney One, Obama Zero when it comes to this year's presidential debate win - loss record. But could tonight's vice presidential debate turn the tide?

It looked like a role reversal from last weeks debate as Vice President Biden came out firing against congressman Paul Ryan. It seemed during the first hour his favorite two phrases were "malarky" and "loose talk", as the two repeatedly interrupted each other.

On the one month anniversary the debate began with talks of Lybia before progressing into topics on the economy and, Medicare and Medicaid.

Vice President Biden could often be seen holding back laughter at many of Paul Ryan's comments. A sharp contrast to President Obama who many have said looked dazed during his first debate performance.

Both Ryan and Biden are Catholics, but expressed very different views on how they would handle the pro-life, pro-choice debate.

Vice President Joe Biden says, "Life begins at conception and that's the churches judgement and I accept in my personal life, but I refuse to impose it on equally devout Christians and Muslims and Jews. I just refuse to impose that on others."

Vice President candidate Paul Ryan, says, "If you believe that life begins at conception, that therefore doesn't change the definition of life. That is a principle. The policy of a Romney administration is to oppose abortion with exceptions to rape, incest and life of the mother."

The next presidential debate will be Tuesday in New York, followed by the final debate on Monday, October 22nd in Florida.
