Accidental shooting in Barney, ND sends a man to the hospital

Barney, ND (WDAY TV) -- Richland County authorities are investigating what appears to be an accidental shooting in rural Barney, North Dakota, that sent a man to the hospital.
It happened just after 1 this afternoon.
Authotities say Arnulfo Junior Lopez of of rural Colfax was showing George Standinger of Plainview a Longhorn 22 caliber pistol when it accidentally discharged..
The bullet went into Standinger's right leg and lodged into his ankle. He was taken to the hosital. His condition doesn't appear to be life threatening.
No charges are expected.
