GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Voters in the northeastern North Dakota town of Drayton have narrowly approved a $3.2 million bond issue to pay for school improvements.

The Grand Forks Herald reports that Tuesday's vote was 114 in favor and 76 against, for 60 percent approval. That was the minimum percentage required for the measure to pass.

The money will be used for a new roof and other improvements at the K-12 school, which has 150 students.

Separately, voters in Adams and Park River decided Tuesday to combine their school districts next year. The two schools have a total of about 425 students.
