College consortium in North Dakota lands job-training grant
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The federal Labor Department has awarded a $14.6 million job-training grant to a consortium of five colleges in North Dakota.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The federal Labor Department has awarded a $14.6 million job-training grant to a consortium of five colleges in North Dakota.
The group is led by Bismarck State College and also includes Fort Berthold Community College, Williston State college, Turtle Mountain Community college and Sitting Bull College.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that the schools will use the grant to expand training opportunities for people interested in jobs in western North Dakota, where the oil industry is booming.
