Land in Stutsman County sold at record price

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Here's one sign of prosperous times for area farmers: Farm land prices in Stutsman County have hit a new record high.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Here's one sign of prosperous times for area farmers: Farm land prices in Stutsman County have hit a new record high.

The land northeast of Courtenay was sold for $4,100 dollars per acre.

The previous record was about $3,500 dollars, for land near Spiritwood.

An NDSU Extension specialist says good crop yields, prices and low interest rates are all driving up land values.
