Police identify woman killed after jumping from Moorhead bridge

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- We now know the name of the woman killed on I-94 in Moorhead.
She's 55-year-old Kristi Garden, from Moorhead. State Patrol says she jumped from the 34th Street Bridge around 8-15 last night, onto a westbound lane of I-94.
Garden was hit by at least one car. It's unknown if she died from the fall, or from impact by the vehicle. State Patrol says the driver of the car was 25-year-old Benjamin Deraas, from Fargo.
Minutes before she jumped, someone reported seeing a woman running in and out of traffic on that overpass.
