Zombie Music Fest in Grand Forks draws in monsters

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- If you were in Grand Forks this afternoon, there's no doubt you would have ran into some zombies.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- If you were in Grand Forks this afternoon, there's no doubt you would have ran into some zombies.

The monsters gathered for the third annual Zombie Music Fest. Organizers encouraged people to dress as zombies while they enjoyed music from local and regional bands.

People say that it gets them in the mood for Halloween.

Nurse Rached says, "October the whole month is about Halloween so this is a good lead up. I understand their is some here that are just dressing in costumes so it's a good way for them to practice for Halloween."

About 1500 people attended the event last year put on by the North Valley Arts Council.
