Massive fire destroyes multi-million dollar homes in White Bear Lake

White Bear Lake (WDAY TV) -- A massive fire destroyed at least two multi-million dollar homes on White Bear Lake.

White Bear Lake (WDAY TV) -- A massive fire destroyed at least two multi-million dollar homes on White Bear Lake.

The fire spread quickly from back deck, to the first house then jumping a short 16 feet to the second house. With gusty winds and embers raining from the sky, each droplet carried a threat to other homes.

Some neighbors pulled out their garden hoses spraying a protective coating of water on their trees and yards before evacuating.
