Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- Grand Forks city crews are busy cutting down and cleaning up broken branches.

Park District officials say it could take days to clean up all the debris.

Meteorologists say it only takes 3 or 4 inches of snow to add enough weight to trees with leaves on them to break off.

This can be a danger to people, vehicles and homes when bigger branches make their way to the ground, hitting structures and power lines.
