Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Governor Dalrymple and the North Dakota Chamber of Commerce are discussing updates for the groups 2020 and Beyond development plan.

They introduced updates at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau, after traveling across the state to hear from residents.

The group says it has received ideas about how to better North Dakota for the future, and Dalrymple says his main focus will be childcare, improving downtown areas, and bettering the relationship between state universities and the private sector.

Gov. Jack Dalrymple, (R) North Dakota: “Those are three things that caught my eye immediately, things that I think we can move forward on immediately in North Dakota, but there will be many others. 1700 ideas.”

Democratic candidate Ryan Taylor says he has been emphasizing these same concerns, but doesn't see how Dalrymple can implement them when he calls for a zero increased budget.
