Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A man wanted on two felony warrants is in jail tonight after a disorderly conduct call early this afternoon.

Jeffrey Greenland was arrested on two outstanding narcotics warrants at about 1:15 today.

Greenland was attempting to enter his ex-girlfriend's home on the 1000 block of south terrace in Fargo when she called police.

He immediately fled on foot when police arrived.

After about 45 minutes and an extensive search, police were able to track Greenland to 9th street and 10th avenue north.

Lt. Joel Vettel, Fargo Police Dept.: “We had a number of officers out on the scene. We did not have a direction of travel, so it was imperative we had a wide perimeter. From that wide perimeter we brought in a K-9 and that K-9 was able to give us a point of travel.”

Greenland will also face a disorderly conduct charge for attempting to enter the home.
