Fire at Freightliner leaves thousands of dollars in damages

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - An early morning fire has caused $15,000-$20,000 in damages to a semi and shop at "Freightliner."

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - An early morning fire has caused $15,000-$20,000 in damages to a semi and shop at "Freightliner."

The semi was undergoing repairs, when a fire broke out in the cab, about 6 this morning.

The fire triggered the sprinkler system in the shop, which held the fire in check until firefighters arrived.

Most of the damage to the shop is cosmetic, but the semi is a total loss.

The cause of the fire isn't known.

Freightliner is located in the 3400 block of 36th street south.
