West Fargo, ND (WDAYT TV) - West Fargo middle-schoolers are putting a stop to bullying, by stomping to the music.

Cheney Middle School participated in National Stomp Out Bullying Day.

During lunch periods, counselors performed a song and dance routine with the assistant principal on the guitar.

The music was to the tune of Bruno Mars's "The Lazy Song" but had lyrics changed to teach kids about bullying in schools.

Amy Meier, Cheney Counselor: “I hope they have some fun, first of all, but then I hope they do understand that as a group of students, they can make a change here at our school and within the community, and really support those students who maybe feel like school isn't as fun and that they might be getting picked on.”

All students and staff were asked to wear blue, showing they stood for stomping out bullying.
