NDSU project gives glimpse of Fargo 100 years ago

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A North Dakota State University project gives a glimpse of what the state's largest city looked like 100 years ago.

The Internet page gives viewers the opportunity to see historic photographs of Fargo superimposed onto the current Google street view map.

NDSU researchers have uploaded five collections of photographs from 1876 to 2009. It includes images from a 1957 tornado that ravaged a section of north Fargo.
