MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Hospital officials say one of the four people wounded in a fatal workplace shooting in Minneapolis remains in critical condition.
Authorities say a gunman killed four people and wounded four others inside Accent Signage Systems before taking his own life Thursday.
Hennepin County Medical Center spokeswoman Christine Hill said Friday one of the injured, John Souter, has been upgraded to serious condition. She says another patient, Eric Rivers, remains critical. A third person has been treated and released. Hill says she has no information on the fourth person critically wounded in the shooting.
Police say officers responding to a 911 call discovered the victims' bodies shortly after arriving at the company, located in a residential area in the city's north side.
