A Wahpeton man is being fined 500-dollars, after being caught with a shopping cart infested with zebra mussels, in his pickup.
51-year old Bruce Hinsverk told DNR offiicers the cart with mussels would be a nice addition to his business. And he didn't know it was illegal to transport them.
Hinsverk says he found the cart in a parking lot in Duluth. Lake Superior is infested with zebra mussels.
