Minnesota military funeral budgets are cut in half

Dilworth, MN (WDAY TV) -- Veterans organizations say they will make sure honors are still performed at military funerals after the Minnesota Military Funeral Honor budget was cut nearly in half.

Dilworth, MN (WDAY TV) -- Veterans organizations say they will make sure honors are still performed at military funerals after the Minnesota Military Funeral Honor budget was cut nearly in half.

The head of the program says federal funding was cut from nearly $1.2 million to less than $650,000.

But Veterans organizations like the Dilworth VFW say they will make sure those honors are still performed.
