Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A random assault spree in Fargo has multiple victims tonight, and two people facing serious charges.
Police say an intoxicated day laborer from California is behind the attacks at two Fargo restaurants, one involving a 14-year-old.
They say 29-year-old Brendan Marjama was swearing loudly and yelling at Ground Round, when someone at a nearby table asked him to " keep it down a little."
Marjama assaulted the 62-year-old shortly after, when the man was leaving with his family.
Take a look, the Take Back the Night rally is in full swing - gearing up for a march against violence. It couldn't come at a more fitting time, less than a week after those assaults last Friday.
Police say the Ground Round assault left a man bleeding, bruised, and unconscious. The victim was a grandfather, sharing dinner with his wife and 2-year-old grandson.
Police say the suspect fled to Hooters, just down the street. There, police say Marjama pinned another man against a vehicle, punched the victim, and tried to steal his wallet. Then, the 14-year-old kicked the victim in the head.
Police say this is a random assault, fueled by alcohol.
