Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- The changing weather is always a good signal that flu season is right around the corner.
Grand Forks Public Health is offering flu shots tomorrow from noon to 4. It'll be in the county office building. Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare and North Dakota Medicaid are accepted, and programs are in place for children without insurance.
Carolyn Kaltenberg, RN and immunization program manager, says, "A lot of people say, "Well if I get the flu vaccine this early, is it still or will it last throughout the season?" Yes, it will but it's intended to be for one season so yes people do need to get an annual flu vaccine."
Fargo Cass Public Health is holding 2 flu shot clinics tomorrow in West Fargo. From 1 to 2-30 at The High Rise, and 3 to 4-30 at the Coop living Center.
Fargo Flu clinics begin October 2nd.
