Duluth gets the first dusting of snow this season

Duluth, MN (WDAY TV) -- We experienced some cold weather over night, but just east of us in Duluth the first small taste of winter.

Duluth, MN (WDAY TV) -- We experienced some cold weather over night, but just east of us in Duluth the first small taste of winter.

The city got its first dusting of snow this season, the earliest measurable snowfall there in 17 years.

The National Weather Service recorded a tenth of an inch fell, and some nearby weather spotters reported 3 tenths in nearby cities. The average date Duluth gets its first measurable snow is October 24th.
