Fargo North High raises money to help a family who lost everything in a fire

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A meaningful homecoming for students and a special at Fargo North High.
For the past 2-weeks, students have been hosting fund-raisers for the Garcia family, left homeless from a fire, recently. Stephen, BobbiJo, and their four children escaped the fire at a North Fargo mobile home park labor day weekend.
The family as not able to save anything, but today the students presented a check for just over 7-thousand dollars to the Garcias, as they try to get back on their feet.
BobbiJo Garcia says, "really helps a lot the house was a total loss it is amazing all this help means the world to us."
The Garcias are staying with family until they are able to find a home.
