The state's potato crop totaled 18.9 million hundredweight in 2011.
Planted acres held steady form 2010 to 2011 at 84,000 acres. Harvested acres, at 77,000 acres, decreased 4 percent from the previous year.
The value of potatoes sold from the 2011 crop totaled $153 million, down 12 percent from 2010.
North Dakota's production accounts for more than 4 percent of the nation's total.
