Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) - The intensity has been ratcheted up in Cobberville this week and there's only one reason why; it's Johnnie Week.

St. John's comes to Jake Christiansen Stadium, a place where they haven't lost since 1986.

Terry Horan knows all about the records and stats in this series. Concordia hasn't beaten the Johnnies since 2008, including a heartbreaking overtime loss in Moorhead last year, but this Cobber team is 3-0, and coming off a huge road win at St. Olaf last Saturday.

Griffin Neal, Concordia Soph. QB: “We're kind of carrying momentum from last week and the two prior weeks and some unfinished business from last year we're looking to pick up on.”

Peter Hvidston, Concordia Sr. Linebacker: “It's a little different this year with St John's. We feel like they took one from us last year so we're going to have some animosity towards them this year.”

Terry Horan, 12th Year Cobber Head Coach: “They're a physical team. They can run the ball and throw the ball. They're two dimensional, which always makes it a little bit tougher.”

It's a 1 p.m. kickoff Saturday; the 3-0 record is the best start for the Cobbers since 2005.
