74 year old to get appeal after running over ex-tenant with Hummer

West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The North Dakota Supreme Court has taken up the appeal of a 74-year-old West Fargo landlord sentenced to 2 years in prison for running over an ex-tenant with his Hummer.
West Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The North Dakota Supreme Court has taken up the appeal of a 74-year-old West Fargo landlord sentenced to 2 years in prison for running over an ex-tenant with his Hummer.
A jury convicted Al Vetter of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment last fall.
His attorney argues they shouldn't have been allowed to consider the vehicle a dangerous weapon.
Because they did, a judge was forced to give Vetter the mandatory minimum 2 year sentence.
The Supreme Court will rule later.
