NEW RICHLAND, Minn. (AP) — A driver who lost her Chihuahua for six days after a fatal crash near New Richland has been reunited with the dog.
Mia had escaped a Jeep Cherokee driven by 34-year-old Waseca resident Mandi Kauffman after the vehicle collided with a motorcycle Sept. 8.
The bike's rider, 56-year-old Morristown resident Jon Geibe, died.
Kauffman returned with search parties to hunt for the dog, but was unsuccessful.
