Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - It's an award that'll always be remembered, because the experience of earning it is unforgettable.
Five EMT's from Barnesville and F-M Ambulance received the Early Bird Award tonight.
In the early morning hours of August 27th, the team was forced to deliver a baby on the side of I-94.
Baby Ronan Armstrong was their tonight as the EMT's were awarded.
His mother Sallie and father Gary say it's an experience they'll be excited to tell Ronan about one day.
Gary Armstrong, Ronan’s father: “Pulled over to the side of the road at one point when Ronan's head was coming out and he came out and he was completely purple and all I could do is talk to Sallie and say ‘Hey everything is ok’ and stuff like that but I tell you what it was like the scariest and most exciting moment ever.”
Ronan is healthy. Gary says after that they're waiting a little longer before having another baby.
