(WDAY TV) -- Well you heard it earlier, NDSU Athletic Director Gene Taylor confirming there will be no player suspensions in relation to the petition fraud case. That's good news for the Bison football team.
But, this is not, Starters Colten Heagle and Garrett Bruhn are both done for the season with torn ACLs.
As for Saturday's game, the Bison didn't let the off-the-field distractions bother them one bit, they knocked off another FBS opponent, beating Colorado State, 22-7, a win that carries a little more weight for the team.
Brock Jensen, NDSU Quarterback, says, "We stick together as a team. We've got each other's backs until the end. We don't take into account what the outside people say about our team because we are a family. We stick together through thick and thin. It was great to just be able to come out here and rally together and get a big win with having that over-shadowing us. So, that was great."
The Missouri Valley named Bison corner Marcus Williams it's special teams play of the week, after recording an interception and rolling up 139 all-purpose yards.
