Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- Fargo is part of an emotional effort to stop suicide.
It's the first day of suicide prevention week, and this is Firstlink's 12th annual Walk of Hope. It supports anyone affected by suicide.
It's free to walk, but shirts were sold at the event for a 25 dollars.
Stacie Loegering with FirstLink says, "we really hold this walk each year so that people have at least one time a safe place to come together to raise awareness for suicide, as well as to make them feel that they have that friends and family that support them."
Money raised will go toward prevention programs.
