Fans take part in Potato Bowl tailgating

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Alerus Center is full and the game is underway but not before a little tailgating.

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- The Alerus Center is full and the game is underway but not before a little tailgating.

The parking lot started filling up about three thirty this afternoon. Food, music and fun is the root of every tailgate and today was no different. Fans took part in some pre-Potato Bowl tailgating hoping for a UND win.

Robert Dusso, UND fan, says, "We're out here today having fun, tailgating, hanging out with some friends, eating some good food and aiting to watch a UND victory."

UND is playing Portland State, the game started at 6.
