Deer, doves are target of hunters in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Deer and doves are in the targets of North Dakota hunters this weekend.

The state's deer archery season opens at noon Friday and the dove season on Saturday.

The Game and Fish Department says the deer archery season is open through next Jan. 6. The dove season closes after Oct. 30. The daily limit is 15 and the possession limit is 30.
