Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Two days to the Bison home opener and police want to remind you about rules for tailgating and traffic. Alcohol is only allowed on the west side of the FargoDome. Police say they will have uniformed and non-uniformed officers roaming the FargoDome parking lot.

Police may be more concerned about traffic. I-29 and 19th Avenue north are always backed up. Chief Ternes says find a different way, if you can. Cass 20, east to University, and down to the Dome is hardly ever used.

Chief Keith Ternes – Fargo Police: “We've been told both the current road construction on 10th and Univ. Drive will be resolved, so normal traffic patterns will exist there. If you're using the interstate, 10th street University Drive, 19th avenue, you should expect some significant delays.”

The Bison game kicks off at 6 on Saturday.
