Teen accused of Mapleton robbery may be charged as adult

The 17 year-old was stopped and arrested about a half-hour after the robbery along I-29.
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The 17-year old accused of robbing Gordy's in Mapleton may be tried as an adult. The Cass County State's Attorney's office is filing charges against the teen in connection with the August 20th robbery. A hearing on the transfer motion will be held September 4th.
The 17 year-old was stopped and arrested about a half-hour after the robbery along I-29. Because he is a juvenile his name is not being released.
