Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Born more than 3 months ago, the Red River Zoo's new Red Panda is finally emerging from his nesting box. The zoo is having a naming contest for the newest member of the zoo. You can take part by going to the zoo's website at RedRiverZoo.org
There are just 10,000 Red Pandas world-wide. Their numbers continue to decline, but the zoo is doing its part. The Zoo has bred one-fourth of the captive pandas in North American zoos.
