Horace, ND (WDAY TV) -- One man faces a DUI charge and his passenger may face drug charges after a rollover early Friday near Horace.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, shortly after 3-am on Friday, 46-year-old Oscar Wilkie drove his 2005 GMC Sierra into the median while heading southbound on Interstate 29 about 3 miles north of Horace.
Wilke was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was transported by LifeFlight to Sanford Hospital with serious injuries. He is still hospitalized. His passenger, 29-year-old Bonita Lavallie was also not wearing a seatbelt. She was treated for minor injuries.
According to the patrol, Wilkie was cited for driving under the influence and driving under revocation. Lavallie is facing possible unspecified drug charges.
