U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon announced Thursday that 38-year-old Isadore Eagle Boy of Cannon Ball pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court.
Eagle Boy is accused of assaulting a woman numerous times on March 29. He lived with the woman. Eagle Boy had previously been convicted twice in Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Court for domestic assault offenses that involved the same woman.
Eagle Boy faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 19.
