Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A Jamestown woman tonight faces DUI and narcotics charges, after she was clocked going 95-miles an hour on Interstate 94 near Casselton.
The North Dakota State Patrol says 39-year old Karen Goodall was traveling east on I-94, near the Lynchburg exit, weaving from ditch to ditch.
When a trooper came up behind her, she was driving 95-miles an hour, and was so impaired, authorities say, she would not pull over.
For six miles, authorities followed Goodall's car, before she went off the road just east of Casselton.
Lt. Bryan Niewind, ND State Patrol: “Right now we believe it is a combination of drug use and alcohol that caused the intoxication.”
The state patrol says Goodall was checked out at a local hospital for minor injuries. No other passengers were in the car but there was an infant car seat in the vehicle.
