Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Fargo and West Fargo police want you to watch your speedometer, as students in both cities get set to go back to school tomorrow.

Fargo police say the department will be out in full force and that the safety of students is paramount.

Fargo also has seven resource officers working full-time at all the high schools and middle schools.

If you are caught going a little too fast or cruising around a bus with its stop sign out you can expect a ticket.

Lt. Joel Vettel, Fargo Police Department: “Recognize school's back in session and drive accordingly. At the end of the day school zones are back and it's a good idea to change your behavior.”

As part of blue days, administrators and non-patrol officers in the department will also be out watching school zones.
