UND looks forward to a new combo of players

Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) -- UND begins a new season in just over a week and Chris Mussman is looking at a few newcomers to make an impact against South Dakota Mines.

One is Arizona running back PJ Sparks, who came to Grand Forks as a highly touted recruit and after redshirting last season, he's ready to add to Bismarck's Jake Miller as a explosive 1-2 combo.

Sparks says, "Developing pretty well, especially taking leap from redshirt freshman year, made biggest change coming in and learning playbook, becoming student of game, biggest leap made a change for me."

Mussman says, "PJ is starting to come along, and we're going to have 1 more back with the top 3 that we have we need someone else to step up."
