Center Avenue in Moorhead has another day without water

Moorhead, MN (WDAY TV) -- It's another day without water for parts of Center Avenue in Moorhead.

Crews have been working since yesterday morning to try to repair four breaks to the water line on the street that happened when a van hit a hydrant.

Temporary fixes to the line have failed and now new line is being put in to stop the leak. For workers at Mick's Office and Taco Johns, it was another day without water and customers.

Dalton Ross - General Manager at Taco Johns: "Monday typically is one of our slower days but Taco Tuesday is obviously a big one for us so the further we go into today the more of an impact it makes on our business."

Moorhead Public service has repaired 3 of the 4 breaks and hopes to get water back to Taco John's and Mick's Office tonight.
