Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Some trendy cuts and curls leaving a downtown hair salon, all in preparation for the upcoming school year.
Once again, Josef's School of Hair Design is partnering with the Salvation Army to offer free, fresh haircuts to kids before they return to school.
Last year, Josef's helped 300 children get cuts.
Metro Area Transit offered free rides and Firefighters offered tours of the downtown headquarters.
Josef's says it is a way for kids to get ready for the school year and feel good about themselves.
Tami Curtis, Fargo Mom: “It helps on expenses. The kids like it. They get a fresh haircut and the students here must like it so I think it is a great deal.”
More than a hundred students from Josef's took part in the special hair cut day.
