Tom Hanks makes a stop in Fargo

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's not often Fargo gets a major celebrity in town -- when it happens someone usually has quite the tale.

Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- It's not often Fargo gets a major celebrity in town -- when it happens someone usually has quite the tale.

The owner of TNT's Diner in West Fargo got a call Thursday evening from a jet company asking her to open the doors early Friday morning.

She did and what do you know, Tom Hanks, his wife Rita Wilson and their 2 sons came walking through the door.

She said the family ate breakfast and left, but not before snapping a couple of photos and signing a couple of t-shirts.
