Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) -- A Fargo man will soon have a home to call his own thanks to Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity.

Sponsors and Volunteers from Thrivent Financial and the Berg Brothers of Bound South helped the proud recipient of the home Wilfred Hudson raise a wall.

Hudson will soon call the house home with his 8 year old daughter Brittney Wilson. The single father is originally from Chicago, but is glad to now call Fargo home. Hudson says it is like a dream seeing the home coming together.

Hudson says, "A house, that it's going to be my own, it's going to be my own and me and my family, it's just exciting, very exciting."

The home should be done sometime this fall.
